The Sleuth has been informed that Volkswagen’s up-market label is readying a top-of-the-line flagship model that will run in the same league as the Mercedes-Benz S-class as well as the upcoming BMW 8-series. In the wake of its diesel-emissions scandal, Volkswagen is attempting to make its name synonymous with the future of mobility; its new post-diesel strategy calls for 30 new electric cars by 2025.
