Some truck and utility-vehicle wheels might look tough, but there likely aren’t many that are actually as tough as the new Forgeline FX1. The six-spoke, six-lug wheel is a forged-monoblock design (it’s carved from one piece of aluminum), similar in construction to some of Forgeline’s racing wheels. According to the company, the FX1 “is relatively lightweight, stiff and exceptionally strong.” Features include a concave design, clearance for large brakes, and custom finishes. The wheel joins the four other truck offerings from Forgeline and is designed for the Cadillac Escalade, GMC Yukon, Chevrolet Tahoe and Ford Expedition, as well as full-size pickups from Ford, Chevy, Nissan and others. Forgeline manufacturers its wheels in house in Dayton, Ohio. FX1 prices start at $1,845 per wheel (for 20 inches in diameter). Visit www.forgeline.com for order info, or call 800-886-0093.
