There’s an official-looking video on Youtube.com that suggests the Knight Rider TV series is set to return at some future date. It features David Hasselhoff (Michael Knight in the original show) along with an unknown actor assuming the lead role. The teaser also displays the original modified 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. At this point it’s anyone’s guess when Knight Rider will return or if it will be a movie or a TV show.
In a world that loves remakes, why not Knight Rider.
