The plan is to end production of the current-generation gasoline-powered Dodge Charger, Challenger and Chrysler 300 after 2023 when the factory at which they’re built is retooled for new electrified product. As such, Dodge is saying “Last Call” for internal-combustion performance with series of Last Call models that dip into the brand’s distant past. The Charger Super Bee — as with the previously announced Challenger Shakedown — is available in regular or widened-fender (wide body) versions, and in classic Plum Crazy or B5 Blue paint. Each of the 1,000 planned Super Bees gets the 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 producing 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque. The remaining five Last Call Dodges will be revealed by late 2022. Dodge is expected to launch electric replacements for the Charger and Challenger within the next two years.
The Dodge Charger Super Bee is one of seven Last Call models from the brand. Production of the current Charger, Challenger and the Chrysler 300 is expected to end after 2023.
