General Motors’ premium division will offer six-speed gearboxes as standard equipment in the CT4-V Blackwing and CT5-V Blackwing-branded models (10-speed automatics will be optional). The CT4-V Blackwing has a 400-horsepower turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6, while the CT5-V gets a 640-horsepower supercharged 6.2-liter V-8. Both Blackwings will go on sale in summer.
The CT5-V Blackwing gets a 640-horsepower V-8 and a manual transmission. It’s one of the few remaining performance cars on the market that can be ordered with a manual.
